What is the Showcase?

The Metronights Entertainment Local Band Showcase is an opportunity for you to showcase your band in front of booking agents, local club owners and other band buyers, and St. Louis area music fans.

Why is it Important?

Especially if you are a newer band, you know the difficulty involved in getting work. Buyers don't like to book bands they haven't seen. Agents have a very hard time selling bands they haven't seen.

Sure, Demo CD's are great, but face it - there's nothing like seeing you live! The showcase provides an opportunity to be seen, the way you should be seen.... LIVE!!

Do We Get Paid?

No. Metronights Entertainment and the Venue(s) absorb all of the costs associated with putting on the showcase. If we paid every band, the costs would simply make presenting the showcase impossible.

BUT!!!!

Each night is a miniature "battle of the bands" contest!! The winner is determined 100% by audience vote (so bring a LOT of people!!). Voting is conducted by paper ballot and votes are counted by Metronights Entertainment staff. Decisions of Metronights Entertainment are final.

The winning band gets:

	A Happy Hour, for up to 25 people, at The Stratford Bar and Grill.
	Each member receives one complimentary night at The Stratford Inn (must be used within 6-months).

What Do We Do?

Sign up and get booked
Send us your promo materials
Show up with your instruments
Play one 40-minute set.

What's Provided?

Metronights Entertainment and the Venue provide the following

	Sound
	Lights
	2 Drinks for each member of your band.
	Booking Agents to book you IMMEDIATELY!

Any Restrictions?

Just three!!

Any bookings the night of the showcase must be booked through Metronights Entertainment AND any bookings with any clubs (or other buyers) represented at the showcase must be booked through Metronights Entertainment. NOTE: your band will be contractually responsible for a 10% booking commission on all bookings booked through Metronights Entertainment.
Promotional Materials handed out at the showcase may NOT contain any reference to a band's website or email addresses.
Any contact information contained in any promotional material distributed at the showcase must be Metronights:
